According to the Best Countries Report 2017 that was published jointly by US News & World Report, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and BAV Consulting, Canada is the #1 country on Earth for quality of life and the #2 best country overall.
Become a Canadian, a private Canadian immigration service, reports, “Many foreign nationals are relocating to Canada due to the high quality of life there.”
Over 21,000 people participated in the survey that evaluated countries based on nine categories that included quality of life, adventure, power, citizenship, open for business, cultural influence, movers, entrepreneurship, and heritage.
The #1 country overall was Switzerland, followed by Canada #2, the UK #3, Germany #4, Japan #5, Sweden #6, United States #7, Australia #8, France #9, and Norway #10.
